Where do I meet my Fly BVI Pilot?
Take a look at our
Airport Terminal Guide for details.
What currency is used in the British Virgin Islands?
We use the U.S. Dollar ($) as our official
currency.
Will I need any sort of electrical converter?
All of the Virgin Islands use a standard
110 Volt AC.
Does the Ocean go all the way around the islands?
We certainly hope so. The Caribbean Islands,
from Hispaniola all the way down the chain to Trinidad, are the boundary separating
the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy our warm waters, where winter temperatures
are usually 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where do I obtain information on the new Visa Waiver
Program requirements for the United States?
We have you covered. First, you
will still need to fill out the paper I-94 form. If you are from an eligible country,
transiting or visiting the United States en route from the BVI, you must also visit
the ESTA site here:
ESTA - USDHS Web site
Can I obtain a Marriage License in the BVI?
Awww, you're a Romantic, aren't you? Seaside
Weddings happen all of the time in the BVI. A few simple rules can be found at:
http://www.britishvirginislands.com/ntk_permitsmarriage.htm
Do you accept Credit Cards for Air Charter Bookings?
We certainly do. You may pay with Cash, Wire
Transfer, Check, Visa, or Master Card at the time of booking.
Where can I find the Ferry Schedule?
If you don't want to wait for the ferry, call Fly
BVI at (284) 495-1747. We would love to take you Island Hopping. We run on YOUR schedule.
But, here's a link to the water ferries, in case you have lots of time to spare;
http://www.bviwelcome.com/ferries.html
I heard about some sort of departure tax...
Under BVI law all persons departing the
territory by air are required to pay a $20 departure tax. If you are a child, 5
or under, have your parents read this to you, then pay $5 instead. This tax may
be paid with cash or major credit card, at most airports. In addition, there is
currently a $5 per person Airport Development Fee, payable in cash only.
What happens to my charter if my Commercial flight is late arriving at the pick-up
point?
Your pilot will make every effort to accommodate the
pickup. However, please understand we cannot leave other charter clients stranded
while waiting for excessively delayed airline arrivals. Only when necessary, we
will proceed to our next pickup and reschedule your departure at the earliest possible
opportunity. Should this happen call our office upon arrival at (284) 495-1747 for
instructions.
How early should I arrive at the Departure Airport?
We recommend one half hour, but no less than 15 minutes
prior to your scheduled departure time. This will allow for payment of departure
taxes, processing of baggage through security and boarding the aircraft in preparation
for a timely departure.
If you were only going to be in the BVI for 1 day, what would you do?
If I only had 1 day in the BVI, I think I would Cry.
Then I would call our good friends at
Dive BVI and take in some of the best Snorkeling and Scuba Diving in the
world. There is so much to do here - you should never be bored or lonely in The
British Virgin Islands.
